Steve has been the Voice of Missouri State Ice Bears Hockey, Division 1 for the past 21 seasons and Division III for 10 seasons. Steve has produced and called over 1050 hockey games for the Division 1 team, including hosting the Missouri State Ice Bears Coaches show for 10 seasons.
Steve has been the lead play-by-play broadcaster for the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) 2017, 2018, and 2019 Division I National Finals, 2009 Division 2 National Finals, and 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 Division III National Finals.
Steve became the Voice of Drury Panthers Hockey starting the 2023-24 season and continues to shuffle broadcasts between the two organizations.
Steve recently called the Division 1 Championship game of the 2026 National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association in Springfield, Missouri.
